Blockwatch
Residents working together to prevent crime and improve the safety of their neighborhoods.
Blockwatch program
The Normandy Park Police Foundation is proud to support the Blockwatch Program, which encourages residents to work together to prevent crime and improve the safety of their neighborhoods. By fostering communication and collaboration among neighbors, the Blockwatch Program helps build a stronger, more connected community.
Block Watch, also known as Neighborhood Watch, supports residents in being vigilant and builds collective awareness. It is a proactive approach to creating safer neighborhoods through community engagement.
Growing Blockwatch, province by province
Normandy Park is divided into twelve Blockwatch provinces. The Foundation gives Blockwatch volunteers guidelines and financial support, and we are growing the program one province at a time.
Get involved
Find your province, then ask to join Blockwatch there. A volunteer for your province confirms that you live there; then you'll see who leads it and how your neighbors keep in touch. You'll need a free account.
Interested in leading Blockwatch in your province, or across the city? Write to us.
In an emergency, call 911.
