Normandy Park Police Foundation
Empowering our community
The Normandy Park Police Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the safety and quality of life for the approximately 6,500 residents across our beautiful 2.5 square miles in southwest King County, WA. As a vital support to the Normandy Park Police Department, which consists of 11 commissioned officers, 3 reserve officers, and dedicated administrative staff, the Foundation plays a crucial role in fostering a safe, vibrant, and connected community.
Our mission
The Normandy Park Police Foundation is an independent community-based, non-profit organization supporting efforts that enhance our Normandy Park Police Department, Community Alliances, Crime Prevention and Public Safety.
What we do
Key initiatives
Blockwatch and crime prevention education
Neighbors looking out for each other in Normandy Park's twelve Blockwatch provinces. We give Blockwatch volunteers guidelines and financial support as the program grows, one province at a time, and help residents learn how to prevent crime.
About Blockwatch →Shop with a Cop
Each holiday season, officers take local children shopping, and the Foundation sponsors every child. It builds trust and friendship between officers and the young people of our community.
Support Shop with a Cop →Paws on Patrol
Engaging pet owners in community surveillance activities, enhancing neighborhood watch capabilities and fostering community spirit.
About Paws on Patrol →Officer Appreciation
We thank the officers and staff who keep Normandy Park safe, from our annual Officer Appreciation BBQ luncheon to celebrating their milestones and supporting their well-being.
