Every year, the Normandy Park Police Foundation pairs local children with Normandy Park police officers for a holiday shopping trip. The kids pick out gifts, clothing, and the things their families need most, with an officer by their side. For many of them, it’s the highlight of the season.
We fund this entirely through community donations. Here’s how you can help:
- Sponsor a child or family — cover the cost of one child’s shopping trip
- Give any amount — every dollar goes toward gifts and essentials for local families
- Share this post with friends, neighbors, and local businesses
- Ask your employer to become an event supporter
We are also looking for volunteers to help wrap gifts and interact with kids.
When: Friday, December 5, 2026 Time: 7:30AM Where: Fred Meyer, Burien
